Vegas preps for flocks of tourists for Memorial Day, Golden Knights

There are bunch of social events happening across the valley this coming Memorial Day weekend.

“There’s a little something for everyone this weekend,” said Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) chief communications officer Jacqueline Peterson.

That is why the LVCVA is anticipating more than 320,000 tourists in the Las Vegas Valley this three-day long weekend. The visitors are then expected to splurge more than $244 million on their vacations.

There are a lot of internationally renowned artists and comedians coming to valley, including Pink. Her concert will be held at the T-Mobile Arena just two days ahead of the Stanley Cup Final.

The Las Vegas 51s baseball team are playing a few contests. And the Las Vegas Aces basketball team have their first home game. The main event for many will be Game 1 between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Washington Capitals.
